Ithaca Ballet has been providing high-caliber ballet training and performance opportunities in our area since 1961. However, presenting a ballet involves more than ensuring that dancers are trained and well-rehearsed in their choreography. Much goes on behind the scenes: costume design and construction; coordination with the stage crew to develop functional and beautiful scenery, lighting, and props; and finally, marketing the performance to the community. Individuals like you help to underwrite these costs, thereby making it possible for our community to experience high-quality ballet performances right in our own backyard.
